Additional Information

The sdeimport command has been deprecated. Supported data transfer workflows are to use a file geodatabase or an XML workspace.

Workaround

- Use XML workspace document to transfer the data. - Use file geodatabase to transfer the data. - Import the data file using sdeimport, then copy the file to create a feature class that previews properly, and delete the first feature class. - Use SQL Server native Geometry as a data type. This is encouraged anyhow and is recommended for quite a while as there may be functionalities in SQL spatial types which might not be supported in the binary storage geometry types.
