This bug is a duplicate of BUG-000173633Workaround
The present workarounds for this error are as follows:
1) Use the Reconcile & Post button from the Versioning tab to perform the operation successfully. The post operation runs successfully.
2) As this issue is only observed in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4, it is recommended to downgrade to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3, 11.2, or 11.1 to continue using this scenario for posting edits to default.
