Additional Information
Overwriting a hosted feature layer was tested in ArcGIS API for Python version 2.3.0 and works with file geodatabase data. This issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1. Ensure the file used to overwrite is in the same format, structure, and name as the original file used to create the hosted feature layer.Workaround
Manually overwrite the hosted feature service in ArcGIS Pro.
