Additional Information

When a source hosted feature layer does not preserve the layer IDs, the layer IDs between the source layer and the view layer can get out of sync when layers and tables are toggled on and off in the Create and Update View experiences. When layer IDs are not in sync between the source and view layers then the Map Viewer is not able to point to the appropriate data when loading the view layer. In the Spring 2022 release, a fix that keeps source layer and view layer IDs aligned when adding or removing layers and tables from a view layer is implemented.

Workaround

  • Republish the hosted feature layer and re-create the view layer.
  • When creating the view, add the point feature class and the related table instead of choosing to remove the related table. Open the newly created view in Map Viewer, and turn off the table.
