Unable to manually add an Azure Active Directory (AD) guest user as a Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) login to ArcGIS Enterprise.

Workaround

• Use automatic account creation for users.
• If users need to be added in advance, add the users directly in Portaladmin and include the # characters in the IDP username, similarly to what automatic account creation is doing: https://<dns alias>/portal/portaladmin/security/users/createUser
