Additional Information
The issue is not reproducible after the March 2022 update of ArcGIS Online. If the issue is experienced, reach out to Esri Support Services as a new reproduction case is needed for continued investigation.Workaround
Add the KML/KMZ layer using the service URL to the ArcGIS Online content page or directly to Map Viewer.
Alternatively, open ArcGIS Pro and use the KML To Layer geoprocessing tool, and share it as a web layer in ArcGIS Online. The hosted feature layer displays without issue in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic or Map Viewer.
