Additional Information

The method in which the action is configured between the map and the Category Selector is backward. In order for Category Selector to filter the map layers, the action is added to the Category Selector and not the map. The actions are always configured source to target. This way the user interacts with the Category Selector to filter a layer on the map. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/operations-dashboard/help/actions.htm
