Unable to export a geostatistical layer generated from an XY event layer based on an Excel table, when the 64-bit background geoprocessing patch is installed and the background geoprocessing is enabled.

Additional Information

Excel tables (.xls and .xlsx) are unsupported data types for 64-bit background processing.

Workaround

Two possible solutions are: Option A: Disable background geoprocessing before attempting to export the geostatistical layer. Option B: Export the XY event layer to a shapefile or feature class and use it for generating the geost
