The ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9 portal's code is equivalent to ArcGIS Online 8.4 (kernel version 1.3), while the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 portal is equivalent to ArcGIS Online 8.1 (kernel version 1.0). The fix is done in ArcGIS Online 8.4 in BUG-000133194, two versions after the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 portal environment.Steps to Reproduce
