The default API key 'AIzaSyDevTFP16nz6sA-akiOVi6wWXiplJnQ4qw' is not in the whitelist Portal for ArcGIS URLs.
Follow the instructions below:
1. Navigate to the URL, 'https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/getting-started' (Note. The video is not the current user interface of code.google.com/apis/console) and run Step 1 through Step 3.
2. If necessary, create a Gmail account.
3. Navigate to 'code.google.com/apis/console'.
4. Select Create Project.
5. Select Enable APIs and services.
6. Search and select the YouTube Data API v3 and click Enable.
7. Search and select the YouTube Analytics API and click Enable.
8. Search and select the Freebase API and click Enable.
9. Select the Credentials and copy the API Key. For Example, 'AIzaSyBT03txLxhE3mocPnkGFvplOsIoQSOoSko.'
10. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the file path, 'C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\apps\Cascade\app\config.js.'
11. Right-click the file, and open it with Notepad++.
12. On Line 45, paste the API key within the single quotes after 'YOUTUBE_API.' For example, YOUTUBE_API: 'AIzaSyBT03txLxhE3mocPnkGFvplOsIoQSOoSko.'
13. Click the Save button.
14. Navigate to Portal for ArcGIS in the browser. For example, 'csc-mtsui10d.esri.com/portal.'
15. Click Create.
16. Confirm using a Template.
17. Click Build a Story Map.
18. Select Story Map - Cascade.
19. Click Create a web app.
20. Input the Title, Tags, and the optional Summary details.
21. Click Done.
22. In the Story Map - Cascade, select 'Add your image or video.'
23. Select Link to Content, and input the YouTube link.
24. Check the check box and the video is successfully added to the Esri Story Map Cascade app.
