This is a known limit of the time styling options in Map Viewer Classic. Refer to the ArcGIS Enterprise documentation on Continuous Timeline: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/use/style-time.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_221C06A43F2D4375BCF519EB4D80877D. In the Note: section, "This style is available for feature collections, CSV layers, and CSV files and zipped SHP files added to Map Viewer Classic."Workaround
Style the hosted feature layers with time values in Map Viewer.
