Unable to create new features in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic when a hosted feature layer contains two fields that do not allow null values and one of the fields has a default value when the search results window is open.

Recommendation is to use Map Viewer as the workflow is successful there.

Workaround

  • Close the search results window in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic.
  • Edit the hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer.
