Workaround
This is tested in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.2. The Python script is changed from "verify_cert=True" to "verify_cert=False" and receives the following successful output:

This workaround does not work for all users. It is also not an option for users who want to use the ArcGIS Pro connection method to authenticate.
