This reported issue is a duplicate of Nim070075Workaround
1. Create connection specifically from the version you will be editing from and add data to ArcMap from the version rather than adding data from SDE.Default and switching to the Editor version.2. Upgrade 9.3.1 geodatabase to 10.3. Use ArcGIS desktop SP1 to edit domain fields in a version.Steps to Reproduce
