Unable to add the default toolboxes using the Add Toolbox option in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.

Additional Information

In ArcGIS Pro 2.6, the implementation for System Toolboxes is changed. Following this implementation change System Toolboxes, can no longer be added to a project's Toolboxes.

Workaround

Perform any of the following workarounds to resolve the issue: 

  • Add the toolboxes in the Catalog pane.
  • Use the toolboxes directly in the Geoprocessing pane by selecting Analysis > Tools.
