Unable to add secure services to the Portal for ArcGIS when the URL of the service contains parentheses.

Workaround

• Share the service to Everyone (Public) and it will be added to Portal for ArcGIS without issue. However, this is not a viable solution as it makes the service unsecure.
• Add the service without stored credentials, however this will require credentials every time a user attempts to access the service.
