Workaround

Force the ArcGIS Online WFS request to use CORS by setting the Online WFS service server as a Trusted Server. For example:An online WFS item is https://proddemo1.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=1366d30fe5374e4d9e7620ea1a5b1c6aThe WFS service URL is https://dservices8.arcgis.com/gjGdvVTLGZvsJP8O/arcgis/services/Airports/WFSServer?service=wfs&request=getcapabilities1. Login to Portal for ArcGIS as an admin.2. Navigate to Organization>Edit Settings>Security.3. Under the Trusted Servers section, add the WFS service server to the list of configured servers. For example: https://dservices8.arcgis.com4. Save this change.5. User are able to add the ArcGIS Online WFS service to the Portal via Content and Map Viewer.NOTE: This works if the WFS Server supports CORS.
