Additional Information

The direction value of 90-4 and 90-3 are equivalent to directions of 270 degrees. In this instance, select one representation of the direction using the label expression. If the label needs to be displayed differently, a new field must be added to the line feature. This field can then be used along with the label expression to toggle between NW and SW (or the other directions) if the measurement falls exactly on 90, 180, 270, or 360 degrees of bearing.

Workaround

The resulting lines have the correct properties even if the direction shown does not follow the correct quadrant notation.
