Workaround

Workflow 1: Use the Project tool for geographic transformation after creating a scene layer package (.slpk).

  • Source LAS dataset: WGS 1984 UTM Zone 33N
  • Tool: Create Point Cloud Scene Layer Content
    • Geographic Transformation: None
  • Tool: Project
    • Input Dataset or Feature Class: The scene layer package from the Create Point Cloud Scene Layer Content output
    • Output Coordinate System: S-JTSK_Krovak_East_North
    • Geographic Transformation: S_JTSK_To_WGS_1984_1
  • Result: The output scene layer package aligns with the original LAS dataset.

Workflow 2: Use the Extract LAS tool for geographic transformation before creating a scene layer package (.slpk).

  • Source LAS dataset: WGS 1984 UTM Zone 33N
  • Tool: Extract LAS
    • Output Coordinate System (Environment settings): S-JTSK_Krovak_East_North
    • Geographic Transformation (Environment settings): S_JTSK_To_WGS_1984_1
  • Tool: Create Point Cloud Scene Layer Content
    • Input Dataset: LAS dataset (already in S-JTSK_Krovak_East_North)
    • Geographic Transformation: None
  • Result: The output scene layer package aligns with the original LAS dataset.
