This issue cannot be resolved in the current release cycle. Defects specific to ArcGIS for Desktop or ArcMap clients are no longer fixed unless those defects are severe crashes or security vulnerabilities. These clients will continue to be supported but will not have issues like these fixed in a patch or future release.
