Time-enabled hosted feature services with a large amount of records have a slight delay when playing back the time animation in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer.

Additional Information

If the layer has 4000 features or less, all features are fetched to the client and time animation is applied without any queries. However, if the layer has more than 4000 features, additional queries are issued and the animation depends on the network latency and display performance. Currently, this is a limitation.
