Duplicate of BUG-000103968: Portal for ArcGIS 10.5 stores the content directory path as an encrypted text.Workaround
Run ProcMon and set the filter to look for Path that contains "content". It will display the path used when it accesses the content directory on Portal for ArcGIS.Steps to Reproduce
