There is inconsistent behavior when creating new polylines that are connected to a junction in a geometric network that contains Z-values.

Workaround

1. Move the connected junctions rather than the polyline. The Z-value will stay at 10 consistently with the junction and other endpoint. 2. If the junction cannot be moved, select the junction (not the endpoint) and re-enter the 10 in the Z attribute. This will transfer the Z value to the new endpoint and, again, maintain all other Z values connected to the junction.
