There is a discrepancy between the editing capabilities of fields defined on the Visualization tab in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer and smart forms in ArcGIS Field Maps.

Additional Information

We were unable to reproduce in our environment. The allow editing status matched between view definition, map viewer, ArcGIS Field Maps website, and ArcGIS Field Maps mobile application.

Workaround

Ensure the configurations of the fields on the Visualization tab match the configuration of the smart form.
