Additional Information

The ArcGIS Online team is working to support new date and time field types including a Date Only field (with no time component), as well as a Time Only field (with no date component). Support for these fields is a priority on our future roadmap.

Workaround

Workaround #1: If the time is not needed to be accurate and the main focus is ensuring the date is correct, shift the time zone ahead for the affected dates to still fall on the same date. Workaround #2: If the user is using a by reference map/feature service on an Enterprise setup, use an Enterprise server with an unknown timezone. Setting the time zone as unknown means that date values will be returned as-is from the database, rather than as date values in UTC.
