This is caused by a combination of the Google Keyboard (Gboard) placement of the speech input button in the autosuggest bar and the default setting to not use predictive text for an input question. When a question has an appearance of `predictivetext`, the autosuggest bar (which includes the trigger for voice input) displays.Workaround
- Use or install an Android keyboard which does not place the speech input in the autosuggest bar. One example is 'Google voice typing'.
- Set the appearance of questions which needs voice input to 'predictivetext'.
