The Trim Polygon output obtained using Network Analysis provides output which is beyond the trim length provided, if the roads converge to create a closed loop in ArcMap.

This is as-designed. If there are no roads that are not traversed within a closed loop, the whole area is deemed covered. If the goal is to identify the areas that can be reached within 100 meters of a traversed road, the tool can generate service area lines and buffer the area by 100 meters.Steps to Reproduce
