The transparency set in a web map in ArcGIS Online is not reflected in the Basic Viewer application when the transparency is set on only one sublayer in an ArcGIS Server map service.

Additional Information

The opacity slider is shown in the root layer and not the sublayers in the Configurable App. To utilize the opacity slider in Basic Viewer, apply the transparency on the root layer in the web map.
