Additional Information

An error in the processing logic for the Track Idle Detector is found and addressed. Release 4 of the processor is uploaded in July 2022 and tested against the ArcGIS Server 11.1 code base. If there are issues deploying and using this latest release of the sample processor, contact Esri Support Services.

Workaround

Deploy Release 4 of the processor uploaded to the ArcGIS GeoEvent Server Gallery in July 2022. Ensure the event records routed to the processor have attribute fields tagged TRACK_ID, TIME_START, and GEOMETRY and the event record's geometry be a valid point. Event records provide location reports for a moving asset with at least two locations separated by a non-zero distance between the points. Event records must be sent in temporal order. Track Idle Detector expects updated event records with new date and time stamps even if the location does not change because the vehicle is no longer moving.
