The temp file for a map service is deleted when AutoCAD is closed using ArcGIS for AutoCAD, preventing the map image from loading when AutoCAD is reopened.

Additional Information

This behavior is as designed. In order to reflect the most current status of the data supporting the map service, ArcGIS for AutoCAD recreates the temp files associated with Map Services.

Workaround

Load ArcGIS for AutoCAD, and refresh the map.
