Additional Information

This is correct behavior. The sync allows passing the same generate multiple times, as it is possible that the changes that were exported did not make it to the client. So the client needs to be able to ask the server for the same changes again. Once the client passes this next number, that acknowledges that the previous changes were received and thus there is no need to allow the client to ask for these again. Note - It is assumed that the data here is traditional versioned based on the generation number passed
