The symbology of a layer is not adopted in the bar chart if the 'Aggregation' option is applied to the chart.

Additional Information

As Designed. If aggregation is chosen we can't match the map symbology because features with different symbologies can be aggregated into the same category. Bar charts with no aggregation or grouping inherit the outline and fill colors defined in the layer symbology. Once an aggregation or grouping is applied, it is no longer possible to use the layer colors and a standard color palette is applied. A future enhancement is being considered to allow aggregated data to match the map symbology when the symbology is based on the same category as the chart.

Workaround

Deselect the Aggregation option in the bar chart and the bar chart displays the symbology as that of the layer on which it was created.
