Additional Information

By design, to ensure a consistent experience for data consumers, ArcGIS Hub and ArcGIS Enterprise Sites do not honor the symbology settings for datasets. Symbology set at the item level is honored in the case of web maps, so in cases where symbology has to be honored, adding layers to a web map and adding the map to the site are recommended.
