The Survey123 for ArcGIS mobile app (version 3.5.164) provides an error message set by the attributes in the constraint field and constraints_message field when submitting a survey, but the Survey123 for ArcGIS mobile app (Version 3.6.157) does not provide an error message set with the same attributes in the constraints field and constraints_message field when submitting a survey.

Additional Information

As of Survey123 for ArcGIS version 3.5.176, the time component of a date question is changed to noon in the time zone of the device. Comparison of date values must use the today() to represent the current date for comparison.

Workaround

  • Use the Survey123 for ArcGIS mobile app (Version 3.5.164).
  • Use the  .<=Today () in Constraints field, instead of .< now().
