Additional Information

This issue has been observed in ArcGIS Pro 3.3. The issue is reproducible with any in-house raster image with a custom projection and units in US feet as the spatial reference. The issue is tested and reproduced in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 and 3.3.

Workaround

Notes:

  • The option to create the 'Surface profile' became available starting with ArcGIS Pro 3.2, so it could not be tested in earlier versions.
  • The problem occurs specifically when the raster data has a custom projection with US survey feet as the units.
  • If the raster is projected to a different projection with different units, the chart would load successfully.
  • Tested with in-house rasters having NAD 1927 BLM Zone 18N with US feet units, the issue was reproduced.
  • Tested with in-house rasters having NAD 1983 (2011) StatePlane Arizona East FIPS 0201 with meters units, the issue was not reproduced, and the chart is displayed without any issues.
