The suggestions list (search preview) does not honor the Display fields configuration of the Search widget for ArcGIS Experience Builder.

This is the designed behavior of the Search widget. Using display fields to show suggestions raises some other issues. First, the number of suggestions is determined by how many search field values match the search input, so in the case of 'taco', there are still three suggestion items, but with the same value. Second, when searching by clicking on a suggested item, the suggested value replaces the original input and uses the new input to research. The search result is empty when the set display field is not also set as a search field.Workaround
Set the maximum suggestions per source to 0 to disable the search suggestion.
