The spatial reference is unknown for a feature class added to ArcMap from a Data Interoperability connection created for accessing a Web Feature Service (WFS) whether the coordinate system is left as a 'Read from source' option or specified.

This issue is fixed in version 10.1Workaround
Specify the correct spatial reference in the data frame prior to adding the feature class from the Data Interoperability connection. This results in the data displaying in the correct location, even though it's still undefined. The issue does not occur in ArcGIS 10.1 or 10.2, therefore, consider upgrading if possible.Steps to Reproduce
