Bug
The space character as a coded value domain is able to execute in the Table To Domain tool, but the resulting domain contains a blank code and description.

Additional Information
Space characters are not valid coded value domain codes. A bug in the Table To Domain geoprocessing tool allows import. In the current software, if users import a space-only code, when the domain is edited in the domains view, users are required to alter the code to include at least one non-whitespace character.Workaround
The user reports the inability to assign whitespace-only domain code. This is not supported. No workaround is available.
