Additional Information
Due to the nature of storage management by the data store engine, space is not necessary reclaimed after a feature is deleted. This is as designed.Workaround
- When extracted from ArcGIS Online, republishing the layer from ArcGIS Pro returns the correct size of the feature layer.
- Overwriting the layer from ArcGIS Pro (from a new project) updates the size of the feature layer.
- It is recommended to disable 'ChangeTracking and Sync' and use the Truncate API if storage size reclamation is the objective.
