Workaround
Other methods to copy the data:- Data> Export Data.- Right-click and select to export to a geodatabase (single) from the copy with the upgraded metadata, the correct output is produced.- Additionally, if ‘copy’ is selected in a geodatabase, the upgraded metadata is brought through.- Use Windows Explorer.
