Issue not reproducible with ArcGIS 10 + ArcSDE 10.Workaround
-Set the SDE feature class to have the same XY domain extent as the larger feature class, -Remove any coordinate value on the data frame, and set the coordinate value as undefined.Steps to Reproduce
