Bug
The Select Data tool in ModelBuilder ignores the specified input data element when there are multiple groups in the Table Of Contents, and selects the wrong child data element if nothing is selected in the output.

Tool works with data stored inside a parent container, such as feature classes or tables inside a geodatabase but not Table Of Contents.Workaround
Change the layer names of the inputs. When the group layer output is generated, the names are not identical.Steps to Reproduce
