The scientific output of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) tool in the Image Analysis window is wrong when using a single raster from the ESRI Global Land Survey (GLS) image service.

Additional Information

scientific output returns real NDVI values from -1.0 to 1.0, build stats or DRA will display the image correctly

Workaround

Use the Clip function to select an area from the GLS2010 enhanced image service, and run the NDVI tool on the clipped image.
