Additional Information

The field scale and precision are not used in a file geodatabase or CSV tables. These formats only support binary representations of double or float numbers (the numbers are a float or double or not), and are not representations that include precision and scale. See the description of field precision and scale in the Add Field usage tips, refer to the following link: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/data-management/add-field.htm#:~:text=The%20precision%20describes%20the%20number,%3D%203%20and%20precision%20%3D%205. Table exports to a file geodatabase or CSV cannot perform decimal rounding by setting precision and/or scale.

Workaround

  • Copy the field values from ArcGIS Pro, and paste them in an Excel sheet.
  • Manually set a scale to fields in the Microsoft Excel application.
