The right-click Delete option for the Smart Editor widget disappear when the Smart Editor widget window is in the refreshing session.

Attribute actions are fired first when the feature's geometry is edited. So when modifying a vertex, it fires the attribute actions first and refreshes the feature and its attribute inspector. That is why the vertex Delete option is only displayed for a short time.Workaround
The recommended workflow is to enable the option to 'Show Attribute Actions update button' in General Settings > Actions Settings. This allows the user to control when they want the attribute actions to fire. The actions can be turned off during a long geometry edit session, then enabled again to populate the new attribute action results.
