The 'RESET' button in the Web Server JVM (Java virtual machine) options page in ArcGIS Server Manager does not change the settings back to default as it did when ArcGIS Server was initially installed.

Workaround

Change the JVM setting back to -Xms256m -Xmx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m -server.
