The Raster to Float tool does not honor and retain the spatial reference of a TIFF file used an the input.

Additional Information

The spatial references are similar and represent the Florida West State Plane zone in US survey feet. The projected coordinate system (PCS) of the input raster is based on NAD 1983 (2011) which is not supported in Workstation. Hence, causes the geographic coordinate system (GCS) or datum ends up being GRS80. The Raster to Float tool relies on the workstation-style projection format.

Workaround

1. The Raster to Float tool (.tif file format [unprojected] and .flt extension [unprojected]).2. Calculate the statistics.3. Define the projection.
