Bug

The raster imagery stored in a geodatabase returns the error, "Error 000569: Failed to generate cache", if the imagery is in a map service, which is being cached with the underlying coordinate system of WGS 1984 Web Mercator.

Additional Information

Fixed in next release of ArcGIS Server10.0.

Use a raster image which is not stored in a geodatabase.
