Additional Information
The issue is a known limitation of the Quickmap feature. When Quickmap is released, it is not expected to be a replacement for photogrammetrically processed orthomosaics since the locally processed Quickmaps use a different algorithm to generate a map.
When planing Quickmap, fly at 400ft (122m) or higher so it's easier for the photo stitching algorithm to find key reference points and accurately generate your map.
Extend the mission area to keep a safe distance between the area of interest and the edges of the mission, thus preventing images from the edge of the mission to be discarded due to low key reference points.
Workaround
Process captured images using the lowest resolutions and use the generated orthomosaics as overlays, however, it defeats the purpose of Quickmap since it is a tool developed for on-site updated overlay generation with the quickest turnaround.
