The Query task with output statistics fails on an Oracle layer or table in a map service published in ArcGIS GIS Server if the data is in a geometry other than the Esri ST_Geometry data type.

Additional Information

This issue does not occur when using the services published from ArcGIS Pro with ArcGIS Server 10.7.1. Users are encouraged to use ArcGIS Pro for this workflow to avoid the issue seen with ArcMap-based services.
